2015 Chinese flexible packaging consumption reached 607 tons


Asia is the region's largest consumer, accounting for 40% of the global total, 2015 to 2020, flexible packaging consumption will average 6.6% growth rate. India and China are the fastest growing flexible packaging consumption, the two countries are expected to reach an annual growth rate of 9.4% and 6.9%.

According to Smithers Peale Institute estimates, this year's global flexible packaging market demand of $ 210 billion, consumption was 26.2 million tons, market value of $ 91.7 billion.

The next five years, the flexible packaging market demand will average 3% rate increase to $ 248 billion, consumption will average 3.8 percent rate of increase to 31.7 million tons, the market value will be 4.4 percent annual growth rate increased to $ 114 billion.
