2017 British plastics industry has developed plastic packaging recovery rate of 57%


British plastics industry launched a plan to require the government to make greater efforts to complete the development of plastic packaging recovery in 2017 to 57% target.

This program, called "Plastic Industry Action Programme" called on all practitioners to make efforts to achieve the goal.

2013, England recovered 787,050 tons of plastic packaging. If the government recognized the 2013 total plastic packaging on the market for 2.49 million tons of this figure, then the recovery of the United Kingdom in 2013 was 32%.

Meanwhile, the industry also called on practitioners to take various measures to improve the recovery of plastics, including the removal of the policy threshold set by the government to expand the scope of recyclables species, improve the quality of packaging material recycling plant.

This program is the UK WRAP Association and the "Plastics 2020 organization," the two agencies design is completed. "Plastic 2020 organization" is a special group by the European Plastics Association, the British Association of Plastic and plastic packaging film composed of the Association.
